Job description:You will be responsible for implementing, ensuring and improving delivery practices, team cooperation and its development while ensuring end goal alignment.You will cooperate with multiple internal competency centers and practices in order to maximize the value provided to the client.You will partner with our client stakeholders in order to understand their challenges, analyze possibilities as well as design and deliver the solutions. Responsibilities:Delivery Management:Building and maintaining long-term, professional relationships with assigned clients and managing their expectationsPreparation of technical and commercial offers in cooperation with the sales departmentDirect responsibility for the business results of projects, Take end-to-end responsibility for deliveryImplement, track and report criteria concerning deliverability, performance, maintenance, design and costsCreating reports and summaries showing the level of service provided in accordance with the parameters agreed with the clientAssure governance of processes in delivery management and production as per selected delivery modelParticipate in preparation of customer proposals and statements of workAct as a central point over any delivery related matters, including escalations, upsells, ramp-downs etc. for management and the clientDesign architecture of modern IT systems from scratch and oversee the implementationProvide technical guidance and oversight for teams under supervision Resource Management:Organization and supervision of a team providing IT services, in particular in the field of software developmentPlanning, organizing and monitoring the work of a subordinate teamHire right people at the right time - to support project executionConduct performance appraisals and manage salaries within the organization in order to meet attrition and profitability goalsPerform knowledge management within the organization, define skills/technologies to be learned and request respective trainingsPerform motivation actions and coach/verify how the same is performed by team leaders from your organizationEnsure that proper software development processes and engineering standards are in place Requirements:At least 4 years of experience working in a similar position (IT project management, IT service delivery management)Experience in design and implementation of scalable systems based on cloud, microservices, API implementationGood understanding and practical implementation of engineering principles: OOP, SOLID, TDD, BDD, CI/CD etcProficiency in discussing and analyzing abstract concepts heavily rooted in technology challengesExperience in setting up teams and projects with software engineering practicesLeading and managing reasonably sized teams and individualsGood grasp of technical landscape across technology stacksExperience in running and improving defined software delivery processesAbility to work within and set up of geographically distributed teamsIn-depth understanding of Agile and/or Lean conceptsAbility to develop trust-based cooperation and synergy from teamworkAbility to make difficult, pragmatic decisionsPerseverance in continuous improvementKnowledge of the IT services market and their sales processExperience in customer relationship managementEffectiveness and efficiency in achieving business goals and negotiationsVery good communication and presentation skillsVery good command of EnglishDegree in Computer Science or related technical disciplineMust possess a legal work permit in Poland.
