Responsibilities
- Assist in performing overall project management duties including monthly status reporting, tracking budgets and schedules, and conducting monthly program reviews.
- Write or review technical reports, project plans, briefs, minutes, and other necessary documentation including that detailing status, design, or implementation of the software or overall project.
- Take a technical project leadership role on the Navy based effort, and provide high level systems engineering input to the Albany GA effort.
- Participate in and/or lead technical meetings and working groups to address issues related to 5G system prototype design, development, installation, and test. Adapt communication to varying audiences including the customer and other high-level stakeholders.
- Serve as a primary interface to subcontractors and vendors. Define technical roles for subcontractors and track technical progress, and ensure any identified issues are tracked and resolved without impact to project timelines and objectives.
- Establish project goals/milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules including on-time delivery of software and hardware deliverables.
- Support new business solutions; participate in business development or proposal preparation as needed.
- Qualifications
- Education/Certifications BS degree in a technical field and five (5+) years' of technical program-related experience in a government contracting environment.Successful candidates must possess a SECRET level clearance or higher.
- Skills and Experience Strong leadership and mentoring skills and ability to drive results.Experience managing and architecting technical solutions for complex problems and delivering them to technical and non-technical audiences.Strong ability to multi-task and to oversee multiple projects.Current project leadership of technical teams including the ability to effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.Strong conceptual thinking and innovation skills.Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and public presentation skills.Ability to lead projects and build consensus amongst a broad team.Ability to learn quickly, think creatively, and provide structure and logic to complex problems with priorities.Work can primarily be performed remotely, with the understanding that some functions/tasks related to the project will require an on-site presence.
