Agile (regular) MySQL (regular) PHP (advanced) Software Development (master) As the Dev Team Lead you will own the development roadmap for the IT internal tools. You will have full responsibility for assigned project delivery, which could include feasibility study, project charter, core team staffing, project execution, change management and project handover upon completion. You will consult on the direction & strategy of the Company’s software development practice, code solutions to internal client business problems, and ensure growth of developers within the development team. Project Delivery: Lead and manage projects within organization’s portfolioManage the architecture and the design of the solutions developed Deliver agreed scope at expected quality on time and budget or raise change request appropriatelyIn relation with Business Analyst, preparation of specifications for project team and supervising project developmentFollow the organization’s standard methodologies, where applicable and complete all required project management deliverables Act as Scrum Master with a focus on guiding the teams towards improving the way they work and becoming self-organizedConducts periodic reviews to ensure project is on track, all required project documentation and relevant information is kept up to date and communicated to the relevant stakeholders on a timely basis Stakeholders focal point: Responsible for project communications at all levels of the organization including key senior stakeholdersMonitor interdependencies to other projects and early escalates any issues, which could endanger successful delivery of the projectProvides decisions within agreed internal procedures to define appropriate actionFrequently interacts with key internal stakeholders to gain cooperation or conduct presentation on project status. Builds productive and cooperative internal/external working relationshipStay informed on market trends that may turn to new technology for the CompanyKeep aware of new technology solutions that may be included in the Company’s tools in future Software Development Software maintenance and development, bug fixes and modernisation of legacy code and systems Building custom solutions according to the company’s needs such as candidate management systems (ATS)MySQL database optimizations, maintaining large amounts of dataCode reviews and testingSoftware maintenance, bug fixes, modernization of legacy code and systems Quality, Control & Reporting Direct reporting to IT Transformation ManagerMaintains control over audited procedures to ensure compliance. If weaknesses are identified, reports them to a Quality DepartmentProject Governance – Contribute and prepare for monthly steering boards, stream lead meetings etc.Project Controls – financials, risk management, resource management Profile and Experience Required:7 + years in Software Development project managementStrong knowledge of PHP (PHP 5-7, OOP, MVC) and related frameworks, along with experience in developing and maintaining microservicesExperience in implementing projects in Agile methodologyExperience in the design and integration of IT systemsExperience with management of larger scale projects (design, development, deployment)IT Service Management knowledge is a mustExperience in MySQLExperience with front-end issues (HTML, JavaScript, NodeJS, AngularJS, ReactJS)Knowledge of:Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate GIT / SVNCI: Maven, Nexus, Jenkins,SQLKnowledge of software securityPreferred as well:Experience with containerization technologies, especially KubernetesNoSQLBPM (Flowable, jBPM)hacking ITIL mid-level certificationStructured PM methodology certification (Agile preferred)Fluent in English (Fluent French or German is a big asset)Excellent communication skills, very good negotiation and social skills, open minded and goal oriented, flexible
