We're seeking a Development Team Lead / Technical Lead to join our Technology department. Our company is implementing agile practices such as Continuous Integration for environment builds, automation across the application & infrastructure, agile processes, and establishing a DevOps culture. As the Technical Lead, you'll be responsible for leading a cross-functional team of 6 to 10 Software Developers, mentoring and developing them into a high-performing team. You'll provide software architectural and technological guidance, identify and mitigate technical risks, define the technology roadmap, and lead the development processes and methodologies with Agile best practices to ensure quality deliveries. We're looking for someone with practical knowledge of software design patterns, excellent understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, experience with Docker and Kubernetes, and hands-on experience with .NET environments. Role description• Lead a cross-functional engineering team of 6 to 10 Software Developers • Provide software architectural and technological guidance • Identify, review, and mitigate technical risk, issues, and impediments • Define together with the technology management team the Technology Roadmap • Refinement of user stories and acceptance criteria • Technical project/product management • Guide and mentor members of the team on a day-to-day basis • Strive to empower the members of the team to grow and increase the knowledge within the team • Lead the development processes and methodologies with Agile best practices, to ensure quality deliveries • Ensure code quality through best practices and code reviews • Hands-on code development to boost the team's quality and delivery throughput. Technical Lead’s skills• Practical knowledge of software design patters • Excellent understanding of CI (Continuous Integration) / CD (Continuous Delivery), DevOps • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes • Proven experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML, SOAP • Experience with at least one of the well-known cloud providers: AWS, Azure or Google Cloud • Hands-on experience with .NET environments (.NET 4.x, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, C#) • Experience with ORM (Object-relational Mapping) solutions (eg. Entity Framework, NHibernate, etc.) • TDD (Test Driven Development) • Experience with high traffic web applications • Experience with relational databases (eg. MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
