This is a key role which will report directly to our President. You are well versed in many aspects of data platform design and implementation and are an excellent team player.. Overview Become a trusted advisor for our clients, technical and sales teams. Understand technology landscape, recognize challenges and opportunities and translate it into an actionable roadmap. Design and implement platform as a code and CI/CD processes on-prem and on AWS. Work with the customers to approve and implement proposed solutions. Own what you develop. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients’ teams. Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain our cloud data platform infrastructure and tools, utilizing either AWS or on-prem infrastructure, and other relevant tools as necessary. Develop automation scripts and tools for streamlined deployment and management of the data platform. Collaborate with the data engineering and analytics teams to understand their requirements and ensure the data platform meets their needs. Monitor the performance and health of the cloud data platform, proactively identifying and resolving issues. Develop and implement security and compliance measures to ensure the cloud data platform is secure and compliant with relevant regulations. Continuously improve the cloud data platform to ensure it is scalable, reliable, and cost-effective. Implement and maintain a continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline for the cloud data platform. Requirements: Strong experience in designing, building, and maintaining cloud data platform infrastructure and tools, utilizing either AWS or on-prem infrastructure. Skilled in Python, Shell Script, Kubernetes, Helm. Experience with DevOps tools and processes, including CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Strong understanding of cloud services and their integration with data platforms. Experience with security and compliance measures for cloud data platforms. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
