We preach automation wherever possible and we live by what we preach.In the Public Cloud team, for which we are hiring, we gather data from our customers' clouds to drive the world class Application Intelligence platform that is Dynatrace. We have a wide spectrum of projects, implemented both as Dynatrace platform modules and serverless applications in the clouds. Open source and closed source. Our components monitor metrics, logs and events in AWS, Azure and GCP. Due to all these variables, each project is a separate challenge and requires a dedicated approach to its automation.As a DevOps Engineer in the Public Cloud team you will help us automate away our projects both by providing the necessary tooling as by designing processes.It is quite an unique situation, as Dynatrace delivers the one of the best tools for DevOps, with this opportunity you would put your experience to drive this product, dogfooding it whenever possible and building a tool for other DevOps as well. Main responsibilities:End-to-end ownership of our Azure Site Extension and VM ExtensionCreating IaC templates for cloud-native deployments, primarily AWS (CloudFormation) and Azure (ARM)Taking care of our Kubernetes-based deployment for GCPDeployment automation in Jenkins and Travis using DockerWriting installation bash scripts for our projectsTaking care of our cloud environments and improving processes (e.g. billing alerts, automatic deletion of unused resources)Spreading DevOps knowledge in the team and proposing improvements in our approach to it What will help you succeed Proficiency in bash.
