On a daily basis, you will: Grow and enhance our Infrastructure and Platform via automationWork directly with engineers for day-to-day activitiesEnsure 24x7 stability...all the 9’s!Be customer-facing to our internal Engineering organization as necessary, building confidence and credibilityBe available as necessary to troubleshoot urgent issuesBe a technical thought-leader, constantly improving our platform and its capabilitiesBe approachable and transparent, wear a lot of hats, and always be aware of the big picture of making SpotOn Enterprise amazing What skill are we searching for? 4+ years of overall professional engineering experience2+ years of demonstrable systems experience in scaling web, mobile, data, and systems platformsStrong hands-on technical knowledge of modern technologies: Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Jenkins, LAMP, AWS, etc.Ability and desire to learn new technologies and have an ownership mindsetStrong knowledge of dev tools, quality tools, DevOps platforms, and the latest trends in all three Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similarStrong written and verbal communication skills and excellent listening skillsExceptional proficiency in both written and spoken English (min.
