Job Description
Job Duties:
- Build and Maintain all aspects of the CI/CD pipeline (build, delivery and deployment ): by using at least one of the following technologies and tools : Github, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes or similar
- Deploy and maintain existing database infrastructure ( e.g. MongoDB, MySQL, Cassandra, MS SQL
- Maintain public cloud infrastructure (e.g Azure, AWS, IBM)
- Build and Maintain cloud infrastructure automation (IaC)- by using at least one of the following tools: Terraform, or ARM templates, or CloudFormation; Write code and build systems to improve performance and operational efficiency of services
- Provide 24x7 support as part of the L2 team to troubleshoot problems, when required.
- Regularly evaluate hardware usage for Production instances of SW products with the goal to find areas of possible improvement or possible stress points that might become bottlenecks: high load queries, hardware load, storage usage, etc
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields, and equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience with at least one of the public cloud platforms Azure, AWS, IBM, GCP.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline (build, delivery and deployment ) tools : Github, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes or similar
- Proven experience with running and/or managing large infrastructure services with multiple availability regions
- Experience with container orchestration platform (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, Service Fabric).
- Experience with Infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, Chef or similar
- Experience of supporting containerized applications in a production setting.
- Strong English communication (written and oral) skills are required.
