DevOps Engineer in Timisoara

The DevOps Engineer will work with the development team to support infrastructure and database systems. This position will involve automated deployment, monitoring and performance testing.What You Will Be Doing • Identify and troubleshoot platform issues • Monitor performance and reliability of Linux and Windows systems and services • Monitor performance and reliability of databases and services • Work with development, staging, QA, and production systems deploying software throughout the software lifecycleWhat We Need From You • Proficiency in cloud technologies such as AWS / Azure tools • Experience with virtualization / containerization for both development and production environments such as Docker • Experience troubleshooting MongoDB or other noSQL based database • Experience in using features such as sharding and replication • Experience w/ Linux & Web Services, such as apache/nginx/mysql • Good English written and verbal communication skills • Effective organizational skills to support a consistently high standard of operations • Scripting skills in at least one language such as Bash, PowerShell or Python • Excellent troubleshooting skills and a commitment to document findingsIt Would Be Nice If You Had • Experience working with microservices • Experience in debugging and performance tuning in a production environment • Domain knowledge in distributed systems, concurrency control, data replication, data recovery, storage systems, query processing, or optimization • Network troubleshooting and remediation • Experience with Kubernetes
