Role purpose
As a DevOps Engineer you are responsible with the development of products, services, functionalities, specific software modules and management of IAAC, as well as providing support for them. The solutions are complex, containing databases, business logic, user interfaces and integrations with other components and systems.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
- Develop well-structure code following company standards
- Document enhancements made and system changes
- Ability to excel in a agile distributed team model environment and work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to set up and develop project teams
- Provide input to impact analysis on other systems
- Coordinate the code development and delivery process based on requirements, considering all the aspects of product development life cycle
- Provide accurate estimates (time & effort) for upcoming features based on specifications
With these skills you are a great candidate:
- AWS technology stack and ability to coordinate AWS stack implementation across the team
- Terraform
- Automation: Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
- Advanced knowledge in software lifecycle management and best practices involved
- Experience in developing software for internet, mobile apps and / or communications technology
- Versioning systems (Git, SVN, AWS Code Commit, Bitbucket)
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Agile experience
