This job will be in a newly formed department, which is creating a next-generation distributed payments processing system for PayTech Leader. In this department we are currently building out a Platform Engineering team to drive innovation and speed of development. As Platform Engineer you will be supporting software developers, their products, continued growth and future expansion. You will be focusing on creating cloud native tools and services, and establishing processes for our internal development platform. We are working with Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes, and using industry standard tools to support our teams. Tasks:Build and operate a self-service, highly available, secure and compliant internal developer platform,Develop reusable infrastructure as code, used internally by development teams,Create tools, internal APIs and automation processes that will increase the speed of delivery,Empower, mentor and help teammates across streams; and take active role in our community of practice,Conduct research on various POCs, clarify functional requirements, and thoroughly comprehend the specifications of the business needs. Requirements: Successfully completed university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a comparableA minimum of 4 years of professional experience in cloud native environments,Practical experience with one or more major Cloud vendors (Primarily Azure, but AWS or GCP experience is very valued),Strong experience with Kubernetes and container technology,Good to have experience with Helm, service meshes, Prometheus and Grafana,Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, Bicep or ARM; automation, GitOps and backend development,Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines,Experience with agile and DevOps methodology,Good to have experience with observability platforms (Azure Log Analytics, Elastic, Grafana or Datadog) for infrastructure and application monitoring We offer Financial transparency: the salary is: 26 880 – 31 920 PLN (160 – 190 PLN/h) + VATClear wage model.
