Overview We are looking for a creative DevOps Technical Expert to manage the transition between project planning and software deployment. In this role, your duties will include supervising junior developers, developing software and configuring systems, and performing diagnostic tests throughout the stages of development. To ensure success as a DevOps Technical Expert, you should demonstrate extensive experience in DevOps engineering and managing junior developers. Outstanding DevOps engineers optimize and enhance a company's software performance. Responsibilities Consulting with management on the operational requirements of software solutions.Contributing expertise on information system options, risk, and operational impact.Mentoring junior software developers in gaining experience and assuming DevOps responsibilities.Managing the installation and configuration of solutions.Collaborating with developers on software requirements, as well as interpreting test stage data.Developing interface simulators and designing automated module deployments.Completing code and script updates, as well as resolving product implementation errors.Overseeing routine maintenance procedures and performing diagnostic tests.Documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.Conforming to best practices in network administration and cybersecurity. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology, information systems, or similar.Master's degree in a related field preferred. Skills CI/CD: Ability to automate and streamline the software development and deployment process, enabling frequent and reliable releases.IaC: Proficiency in using tools like Terraform or Ansible to provision and manage infrastructure resources programmatically.Experience with containerization platforms like Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes to facilitate application deployment and scalability.Knowledge of cloud platforms to design, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions.Understanding of monitoring tools to monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot issues.Strong scripting skills to automate routine tasks, configuration management, and infrastructure provisioning.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, bridge the gap between development and operations, and promote a collaborative culture.Awareness of security best practices and ability to implement security measures like access control, encryption, and vulnerability scanning in the DevOps workflow.Familiarity with Agile principles and practices to enable iterative and incremental development, facilitate feedback loops, and ensure rapid delivery of value.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues in complex distributed systems, troubleshoot production incidents, and optimize system performance. Experience 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering (Kubernetes, Azure, AWS, Docker, SonarCube/SonarCloud, Helm)3+ years of experience in managing Linux based infrastructure.Advanced knowledge of programming languages such as Python and Java, and writing code and scripts.Experience in installing and configuring software, gathering test-stage data, and performing de-bugging.Experience with databases including MySQL, Mongo & ElasticsearchExperience in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.Knowledge of best practices related to data encryption and cybersecurity.
