The Director of Operations will oversee the payroll department across countries within the EMEA region. You will ensure regional payroll teams perform the scope of work effectively while delivering exceptional service to existing and future customers. Planning, strategy setting and implementation, bringing efficiency would be the core areas of focus.
The Regional Operations Director will also direct and coordinate EMEA payroll teams by developing consistency among the region.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Liaising with Management to make decisions for operational activities and to set strategic goals
- Identify ways to increase efficiency across the department and to facilitate accelerating development and long-term success
- Planning and monitoring the day-to-day running of payroll operations to ensure smooth progress
- Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analysing and interpreting data and metrics
- Oversee customer support processes and organise them to enhance customer satisfaction
- Develop and implement best practices, key performance indicators and SLA metrics for theteam
- Develop strong client, partners and other stakeholder relationships, implement effective communication programs and transform our global employee support model
- Ensures that the Payroll team is engaged in their work, effectively manages their performance and supports the team in their professional development
- About you:
- 5 years of proven experience as a Director of Operations or equivalent position within the payroll industry
- Excellent leadership and organizational abilities
- In depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g. supply chain, finance, customer service etc.)
- Strong project management experience including the ability to manage project plans, dependencies, critical path activities and milestones
- Strong financial and business acumen
- Excellent communication, presentation, influencing and facilitation skills
- Focused on results, ability to manage priorities and respect deadlines
