We have been doing this effectively for 30 years. dmTECH is expanding by opening a new branch in Poland (Wroclaw) focused on hiring new talent and providing high-quality services. Currently, dmTECH Poland has around 20 employees, but in the first year of the new branch's operation, we plan to expand to around 50- 100 employees. With a focus on quality service, dmTECH is positioning itself as a competitive player in the polish IT industry. We are currently looking for Director of Operations​ with German for creating a new branch in Poland (Wroclaw) for one of the top tech employers in Germany. The Director of Operations​ will be responsible for building and managing the work environment, managing a team of IT professionals, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and delivering high-quality services to internal and external customers. Location: Wroclaw Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the site in Poland and ensuring its smooth operation.Manage and lead a team of IT professionals, including hiring, training, and performance management.Develop and implement policies and procedures in line with company goals and best practices.Manage office infrastructure Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, such as data privacy and security.Manage budgets and expenses to optimize resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.Cooperate with the German boardCollaborate with other international departments, especially with the headquarters in Germany and stakeholders to identify needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.Continuously monitor and evaluate operations to identify areas for improvement and ensure high levels of customer satisfactionStay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in IT management and use that knowledge to improve operations. Your profile: At least 5 years of experience in IT management, including managing complex IT operations.Fluency in written and spoken German (at least C1/C2 level)Fluency in written and spoken English (at least B2 level)Fluency in written and spoken Polish (at least C1/C2 level)Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.In-depth knowledge of IT policies, procedures, and regulations.Familiarity with budgeting and cost optimization techniques.Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in IT management.Strong in Business Analysis and Project management tools – MS Excel , JIRA, Confluence, MS PowerPoint Nice to have: Familiarity with Project Management (Requirement management, Risk Management, Resource Management, Project Integration Management etc.)Experienced with Agile frameworks usage (Scrum, Kanban) What do we offer you: Business culture based on dialogue, in which we focus on working in teams, straightforwardness, respect and understanding that mistakes are something natural when we want to develop.
