Your roleOur E-commerce Architects shape and define solution architectures for our clients. These architectures are used to transform business requirements into technical solutions, with supporting project plans, detailed designs and informed technical risk analysis. We work with a client from the earliest stages of a project, from presales, through to delivery and 'go live'. We provide technical leadership and support to the Programme Director or Engagement Manager. You are the trusted advisor to our retail and consumer products clientWork on some of the most leading-edge cloud-native and hybrid architectures in development today.Take end-to-end ownership of shaping solutions & defining the right architectural approach.Support project cost estimation and budgeting, planning and delivery as a Technical LeaderMaintain technical relationships with our technology partners.Be a trusted technology adviser to our clients as well as to Capgemini colleagues.Your profileExperience of working in the retail and CP industriesExperience of working with some of the major software vendors in this space such as Commerce Tools, Adobe or Sterling OMSWorking with distributed, offshore delivery teams and some development and DevOps background/experience preferable but not essential Experience of building scalable, resilient, and secure applicationsExperience of Agile/Scrum methodology.Exposure to and some experience of working with structured architecture approaches (eg TOGAF).Knowledge of API-centric architectures and integration strategies.Why Capgemini is uniqueWe work with a range of clients all with a unique set of business, technological and societal ambitions.
