Expert Refurbishment Risk Management in Cernavodã

JOB OVERVIEW  Our client is seeking a results-driven professional with CANDU refurbishment knowledge, experience, and skills, to join our team of dedicated leaders in Romania in the role of Expert Refurbishment Risk Management supporting Cernavoda Unit 1 Refurbishment program.   Reporting to the Manager Project and Risk Management, the Expert Refurbishment Risk Management will utilize their refurbishment experience to achieve project objectives on time, on budget and in compliance with applicable quality assurance and safety standards.   KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES  Lead Risk Management in support of the current projects   Develop and Implementation of methodologies, governance and processes in relation to Risk Management.  Ensure the program is reviewed periodically to evaluate known risks and to document any known risks on a prescribed frequency as well as retiring of risks which have been resolved;  Develop mitigating actions to lower the probability of the risk materializing;  Document any residual risks;  Interface with various project departments as well as the Station to identify, review and monitor new risks or changes in risk profile;  Ensure compliance with applicable quality assurance standards in all relevant activities associated with the project, including design, procurement and implementation of works;  Requirements EDUCATION   Post-Secondary/University Degree in Business Administration or Financial Accounting is required  Previous experience in the refurbishment and/or operation of a CANDU Station is considered a must  QUALIFICATIONS   We are seeking a results-driven professional who has the following:   Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Risk Management on large nuclear projects;  Previous experience in the refurbishment and/or operation of a CANDU Station;   Extensive knowledge of Engineering/Construction/Environmental/IAEA related laws, regulations and standards;  Extensive knowledge of Risk Management Programs and processes;  Ability to communicate effectively, possess excellent oral and writing skills, and strong facilitation, negotiation, influencing, and presentation skills. Ability to present information clearly and effectively;  Ability to adequately disposition comments for other management staff;  Sound judgment and a keen sense of responsibility;  Ability to work collaboratively with others and lead in a team environment;  Ability to multi-task and prioritize work to meet objectives and targets;  Ability to make decisions based on established requirements, procedures and practices;  Ability to communicate in Romanian is considered an asset.  The successful candidate will exhibit uncompromising integrity and commitment to upholding corporate values and the Code of Business Conduct.  Benefits Why Join Us?
