Facility, Security & Safety Manager for H&M 3PL Logistics Site – full-time – permanent in Ploieşti

Job Description We are currently seeking a Facility, Security & Safety Manager  to join our new H&M 3PL distribution center, focused on retail replenishment, in Ploiesti, Romania. As Facility, Security & Safety Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all facility, as well as security & safety related aspects of the newly built distribution centre. Main Responsibilities:   Ensure compliance of the newly built DC with security & safety regulations and standards including building infrastructure safety, worker safety, as well as access and theft control Effective control of facility and technology access with smooth integration into say-to-day processes Lead and develop a team of facility technicians Drive procurement process for facility related processes and activities Maintain relationships with current and new suppliers to improve solutions and identify best practices Support people and business growth and development by ensuring that FM strategy is followed within DC Initiate sustainable processes and support the current set-up from a sustainability perspective Budget and follow-up on costs Monitor and follow up quality performance based on predefined quality measures & KPIs Perform risk analysis & risk management within the DC and take corrective measures to ensure people safety Ensure DC is compliant with global policies, standards, and local legislation incl. safety & security requirements Raise Health and Safety awareness within DC and train the workforce in all safety and security matters   Qualifications To be successful in the role we believe you have:   Proven knowledge or experience/training in a relevant field (facility management, H&S) as wells as strong understanding of warehouse operations and industry best practices  Profound expertise in facility management, safety & security Excellent communication skills including fluent written and spoken English Strategic mindset and solid analytics and problem-solving skills to identify operational bottlenecks and implement effective solutions Proactivity in identifying and solving potential risk areas with regards to health and safety as well as overall compliance Project management knowledge is a plus Contractual expertise and ability to negotiate with suppliers and landlords Experience from assessing quotes and preparing SLA documents Holistic view with a visionary approach, capable of seeing the bigger picture. The ability to foster collaboration, co-creation, and people development. An agile mindset and a positive attitude towards change and meaningful growth. Self-awareness, understanding own impact on others, and recognizing contribution to the overall Group's success. Additional Information This role is a full-time, permanent position , starting as soon as possible with direct reporting to the DC Manager. The work location is Ploiesti, Romania.
