We believe that Open Banking will help ING to further stimulate innovation, improve customer experiences and create new business models using API technology. The Open Banking platform is a global multi-sided platform that enables (external) parties to collaborate, create value and connect in an easy, secure and scalable way. It's a global platform serving all of ING’s markets, business lines and countries. Our key strategic goal for 2023 is to enable new use cases and improve the capabilities and user experience of the Open Banking platform.What you bring to the team:Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;Excellent team player in an international team, quality focused, service oriented, eager to learn;You are curious and understand the latest developments in the technical and financial services;You have a good understanding of banking in general or you are passionate about learning it;You are able to discuss with your stakeholders and product owner about features and stories and can translate these into software architecture with real business value;You have strong problem solving and analytical thinking - ability to diagnose and resolve ambiguous problems;You have a good understanding of software architecture;You have experience in designing solutions following a target architecture;You have experience in Continuous Delivery.The environment is dynamic and we are constantly on the lookout for innovative creative solutions and new ideas.What we are looking for:Experience in developing microservices and preferrably event-driven applications;Knowledge on architectural principles and design patterns;Knowledge on non-functional aspects of IT Architecture (Performance, Resilliance, Availability, Security, etc);Experience in developing applications using: oAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect; REST API Design Principles; SQL (eg. Oracle, MSSql) or NoSQL (eg. Cassandra); Java SE 8+; Spring Framework & Spring Boot; Persistency frameworks (eg.
