The Field Service Technician will provide the highest standards of installation and service call work, while establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with all customers. This person will deliver digital convergence products such as business grade high-speed internet services, as well as analog and digital television services to hotel clients. Key Responsibilities: Provide remote troubleshooting and on site break fixes to existing customer sites.Provide remote technical support to contractors.Attend sites to resolve customer issues.Set up, support and break down managed conferences.Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and to agreed processes.Provide a high level of customer care, and ensure whenever possible that customer issues are resolved within SLAs.Complete all paperwork and systems accurately and on time.Liaise with senior engineers, management, third parties and customers. Qualifications: Technical Degree, CCNA or CWNA preferred.Capacity to work with application configurations, hardware support and connection systems.Ability to work in WAN/LAN environment; working with routers, servers and TCP/IP environment.Ability to work in analog/digital video environment with coax, and coax test equipment.Capability to work with customers under pressure, and to take ownership for customer relationships.Ability to integrate individual work efforts to meet team objectives.Ability to logically and systematically identify and resolve system failures with an effective troubleshooting process.Able to fulfil the role of consultant with customers in designing networks.Exercise judgment to analyze problems and solve them creatively.
