Description
The Finance Operations Specialist is part of the SmartFinance Team and provides technical and operational support for the finance processes of data import, reconciliation, invoicing and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Daily operational activities (monitor and resolve alerts, run specific SQL commands, check applications logs).
- Investigate and resolve issues triggered on the import processes (transactional data import, provider reconciliations files, marketplaces).
- Investigate and resolve unmatched provider or marketplace transactions resulted from the reconciliation processes.
- Contact providers or merchants when unannounced changes occur, or mismatches are identified.
- Assist the Invoicing Team with different investigations, manual configurations, or workarounds to facilitate the invoicing process.
- Assist Invoicing colleagues, Finance Team, Chief Financial Officer with management reports configurations via SmartFinance application or SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services).
- Troubleshoot data issues and suggest/execute corrective actions for the invoicing app.
- Analyze the root cause of recurring issues covering the systems and processes and provide suggestions for improvement or automatization.
- Writing and maintaining operational or technical documentation referring to system maintenance processes/procedures.
- Monitor various win services to make sure these run smoothly and fix issues when they occur.
- Working closely with the integration team and PO to provide feedback or monitor production releases.
Requirements
- Strong technical capabilities
- Good understanding of T-SQL and SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services).
- Experience in managing stakeholders’ relations (Invoicing Team, Finance Team, Integration Team, Support Team).
- Proactive and problem-solving mindset.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Excellent communication skills.
