POSITION PURPOSE
The position is opened to support Budget work within Sustainlaytics: management, controlling and reporting of the budget across all Sustainalytics entities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results in comparison with the budget/ forecast/ historical trends
• Ensuring timely and accurate reporting of monthly results, forecasts, and budgets via working with budget managers and group finance team
• Identify and work with the relevant stakeholders to investigate into irregular financial results/trends
• Understand business case for a budget recommendation and submit for management approval
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Be a partner for the accounting team, support month-end and year-end close process
• Ensure across-the-board implementation of standard finance practices
• Support management in preparation of the Annual Business Plan, Forecast and monthly business reporting
• Identifying weaknesses in internal control and suggesting improvements.
• Preparing ad hoc reports for management, as necessary
• Projects assigned, as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
• University degree in finance / accounting / economics
• 2- 5 years’ experience on financial position
• Strong working knowledge of detailed financial data analysis
• Very good analytical skills
• Excellent skills in MS Excel
• Experience in processes implementation
• Capability to work independent, flexibility, organized, initiative, good team member, motivated, oriented on result and accuracy, good handle on working under pressure
• Advanced level of English (spoken and written)
