As a Financial Controller you will be responsible for: • Perform analysis of Cost Centers and controlling of defined cost categories including regular alignment with cost center owners. • Support cost improvement initiatives. • Perform variance analysis of Balance Sheet accounts and cashflow analysis. • Keep a close watch on Cash Flow and pro-actively take corrective action by developing an early warning indicator system for eliminating deviations to forecast. • Gathering and evaluating activities that are impacting forecasts, independently providing thorough explanations for variances, and working with the managers to align and achieve their individual targets. • Support the forecasting and budgeting processes, alignment with technical counterparts and management reviews. • Cost control and driving productivity through financial process improvement and automation. • Perform ad hoc business reporting, analysis, and other special projects as needed. • Cooperates with all others involved and with interface partners and passing on all relevant information to keep themselves and others advised. Your qualifications and experience: • Degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or Business Administration. • Minimum 3 years working experience in financial analysis, reporting, and/or internal controls. • Experience with SAP and MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Think-Cell). • In depth understanding of cash flow, P&L and Balance sheet. • Language skills: good English skills, written and verbal. Your attributes and skills • Analytical and detailed oriented; ability to systematically work through complex topics. • Good communication skills, ability to explain the story behind the figures. • Business Process Improvement (BPI) mindset; ability to identify opportunities to streamline and optimize existing processes in data collection, consolidation, and reporting. • Strong personal commitment, sense of responsibility and duty.
