In this exciting role, you will manage crucial processes like cash application and merchant payouts while investigating complex transactions and resolving high-priority customer issues. You'll also have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead discussions with business and operational stakeholders. If you thrive on problem-solving, delivering results, and have a passion for finance we want to hear from you.Main responsibilities Manage the cash application process: Daily reconciliation of bank deposits and cash receipt system entries for the bank accountsReconciliation of Cash Payout Files for MerchantsIdentify Transactions for Duplicates and Qualify for Refunds, manual refund processingInvestigation and Rebooking of Transactions when Payout to Merchants have failedResolves escalated customer issues and internal issues of high complexity and proactively follow up on complex issues to resolve them with some guidance and within SLAsEnsuring the operations’ efficiency and meeting the contractual terms with our merchantsAbility to organize and lead meetings with business and operational data stakeholdersSupport management with ad-hoc reportingActively participate in achieving the goals of the team and the department Skills and Experience we desire Fluent in English and proficient in German Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or FinanceMinimum 2 years’ experience working in a Financial Operations/Accounting DepartmentYou demonstrate strong communication skillsGood research and analytical skillsAble to multi-task and establish priorities to consistently meet deadlines Our commitmentVerifone is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
