Kuehne + Nagel Romania is looking for a motivated and dynamic FTL - LTL International Freight Forwarder for Bucharest Your Role To have overall responsibility of international (FTL-LTL) road logistics business by increasing business, profit and profit margin.To oversee and manage the international (FTL-LTL) road logistics business activities within K+N guidelines to achieve organizations short and long term business goals. Your Responsibilities Completing Road Freight activities in accordance with all customer service requirements.Ensure delivery of shipments in line with time constraints.Supply costs for spot quote business.Responsible for the profit and loss for the national business field.Monitor annual budget, initiates corrective actions in case of deviations.Identify opportunities to reduce transport cost and improve margins.Use problem solving tools and put corrective actions in place where necessary.Deliver excellent customer service, and take ownership for allocated customers.Identify savings opportunities through consolidation activities.Track loads through to delivery, and keep the customer updated throughout the process.Ensure that all data is input accurately into operational systems.Complete invoicing to customers according to company standards.Maximization of load fill.Transport / Subcontractor Management.Ensure efficient operations and continuously optimizes the operations by implementing standard processes in line with corporate guidelines and targets.Cooperates in the development and implementation of business operation and reporting system.Monitor market trends and competitor activity in order to identify new business opportunities. Your Skills and Experiences At least 5 years of experience in freight forwarding operations with a focus on road freight FTL-LTLKnow-how in convincingly addressing your audience and always hitting the right toneTop-notch strategic skills, as well as a self-starter mindsetExcellent English skills, or any other European language is a plusAbility to thrive under deadlines, drive results, multi-task and work with a sense of urgencyCustoms Compliance knowledgeTransport regulations knowledgeCarrier invoicing and billing procedure experienceTechnical understanding of the overall Expediting process activityExperience in follow up on financial operations achievements
