Appnovation Technologies is currently looking for an experienced and talented Developer with experience around Contentful, React and Next.js in particular who is looking for the next exciting step in their career to join our team. The successful candidate will work on innovative projects that span our offices across Europe, providing expert development skills within our agile cross-functional teams.THE ROLEYou will be responsible for providing hands-on development expertise at senior to lead level on client projects, overseeing code quality, technical approach, architectural alignment and technical direction for junior developers. You will join our team of JAM Stack engineers, contributing to the development of client websites. You will collaborate with the team on planning and estimation ceremonies and work closely with project management on owning and updating development tasks in Jira.You will be able to communicate effectively with the team and be able to provide clear and proactive status updates.The ideal candidate will have worked in a digital agency or consultancy environment who finds the prospect of growing with us and self-development an exciting prospect. YOU WILL HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO Build responsive web-based systems using React, extending into usage within popular frameworks such as Next.js and alike Work with Contentful (or experience with similar CMS’s) closely, collaborating with our creative UI/UX teams to find great solutions and effective interpretations of client’s needs Work closely with European house-hold name clients on exciting projects in a fast paced environmentDevelop flexible and well-structured front-end architectures for a wide variety of clients WHO YOU ARE Problem-solving approach applied to complex client problems Thirst for knowledge, exploring new developments and techniques as they arrive. Open-mindedness to work in multidisciplinary teamsEager to work with an evolving tech stack, collaborating with other departments to create solutions CORE SKILLS REQUIRED Progressive front end development experience, you can develop across multiple platforms Experience with Contentful CMS (or similar)Good knowledge of React, extending into usage within popular frameworks such as Next.js and alike Experience working with 3rd Party REST/GRAPHQL API Experience working with 3rd Party REST/GRAPHQL API Good HTML5, XHTML, CSS/CSS3 and JavaScript skills Version control with GIT and practices such as Git Flow or alikeGood understanding of Web AccessibilityExperience working with CaaS, Headless CMS or traditional monolithic CMSTypescript experience NICE TO HAVE SKILLS Experience working in a consultancy or agency environmentExperience working client facingExperience working with modern authentication mechanisms Experience working with ESLint and other code level validation toolingKnowledge of Static Site Generation and best uses cases considered beneficial Knowledge of testing with Jest, Enzyme and/or CypressKnowledge of State management using Redux or alike considered beneficial WHAT DOES APPNOVATION HAVE TO OFFER?
