Functional Safety Engineer Medium Experience in Constanţa

VESOFTx , a leading provider of automotive software solutions, is seeking a talented and motivated Functional Safety Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our automotive software products. Responsibilities: Participate in the development of safety-critical software according to ISO 26262 standards. Conduct hazard analyses (FMEA, FTA) to identify potential safety hazards. Develop and implement safety requirements based on identified hazards. Verify and validate safety measures through testing and analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software development, hardware engineering) to ensure safety considerations are integrated throughout the entire product lifecycle. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's functional safety processes. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in automotive software development or a related field. Working knowledge of ISO 26262 standards. Understanding of hazard analysis and risk assessment methodologies (FMEA, FTA). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience with C programming for embedded systems a plus.
