Title: Game QA Certification Tester Hours: Monday – Friday, Contract, Business Hours Department: : Games Quality Assurance (GQA) Role:: Hybrid Overview As one of our Game QA Certification Testers your primary responsibility will see you focus on the certification technical testing of first party platform requirements for the various platforms that we support. Our global Game QA team perform functionality and compliance checks on a range of yet-to-be-released games for a variety of platforms including PC, Xbox One, PS5, Wii, PS Vita, DS, Switch, VR and various mobile and tablet devices. You would be working on top gaming titles for some of the world's leading AAA publishers. What you’ll be doing Report high-quality defects in accordance with certification guidelines for multiple platforms. Regularly report quality certification bugs while also reporting functional bugs as found. Executing assigned tests accurately and sufficiently to have confidence in documented results. Reporting results in a clear and concise manner into a bug database. Regresses assigned issues and validates that the issues have been addressed correctly and provide responses to emails when required. Escalates any issues preventing/impacting test execution and provide feedback regarding test approach and test case improvement. Complete test cases for assigned projects and helps maintain up-to-date and accurate test suites. Assist in the creation of documentation to ensure knowledge base resources remain current and reliable Any other tasks associated with GQA Certification Testing. Requirements What we’re looking for Ideally 6 months experience in Game QA Certification in console compliance testing across multiple platforms. English at C1 level. Has an accurate and experienced understanding of first party systems and requirements. Able to test more independently and put in the research when they are not sure about a potential issue. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and is highly productivity yielding efficient and accurate results. Consistently provides a positive role-model to testers, in terms of work performance and demeanor. Familiar with using Microsoft Word, Excel, and bug database software. Comprehensive understanding of test cycles and processes. Exceptional performance in a previous testing role (testing, processes, reporting, technical skills). Very good understanding of quality assurance processes. Working knowledge and experience using bug tracking tools. Ability to meet deadlines with excellent attention to detail. Be able to provide evidence of Right to Work in the country. Working from home criteria: Candidates must have their own broadband with a direct connection to the router via ethernet cable. Candidates must be able to have access directly to the router. A separate and private working area with appropriate table and chair. Mobile or tablet device with at least Android 9 or iOS 15 or newer Studio Working Criteria: Candidates must live within 60 minutes of studio.
