This can be done in different Commodities, Infrastructure, Application Management Services, Hardware, Software, etc. Regional alignment with Indirect Material Colleagues as well as stakeholder will be part of this job. In addition, you need to drive cross-functional aligned supplier management activities to further optimize the performance of the suppliers.This individual will be operating the strategic global procurement activities related to our internal guidelines, tools and processes, but will also creating and further developing standards to be applied globally and supporting or leading global sourcing activities as well as supporting Procurement teams when needed.The main commodities included in the Information Technology scope and which you will be handling as a Global IT Commodity Manager Professionalare:Infrastructure, Application Management Services, IT Implementation Services, Hardware, Software, Mobile Communication and any other equipment / services which might be subcontracted.How You’ll Make an ImpactManages (Sub) Commodities cross-business (, Application Management Services / IT Consulting) or for one business and fosters cross-functional alignment; Defines (Sub) Commodity structure, organization, and strategy in alignment with Management; develops and implements material productivity measures to achieve the maximum contribution to the targets.Coordinates and manages a virtual/ cross-functional team to achieve optimum conditions and savings through collaborative, targeted activities and to increase profit from global and cross-business or sourcing for one business. Communicates the strategies to ensure long-term, cost-efficient supply of materials.Negotiates frame contracts; defines core assortment; documents frame contracts in relevant Supplier Management IT-systems.Forwards systematically all relevant Procurement related project information (, updated contractual conditions, Supplier Management data) to keep all project participants up to date; performs Supplier Management, in particular Supplier Development to obtain and develop the best suppliers and to ensure an optimum supply chain.Plan monitor and report on relevant KPI to contribute to the success of the business and make results transparent.Ensure a close cooperation with Internal Customers (requisitions) to ensure customer care and early involvement.
