Definition and documentation of HW and SW standards for manufacturing lines and related processes within the plant and BU network.

Supporting the definition and adjustment of our standardization roadmap under economic and I4.0 aspects.

Responsible for planning, controlling and realization of international standardization projects.

Planning of production lines, material flow, layout, calibration and test, taking into account new or modified processes according to ergonomic, manufacturing and economic findings.

Driving the standardization in cooperation with our international plant teams.

Tracking future trends in production technologies and performing benchmarks to ensure best in class standards.

Close alignment of activities within the BU-network and in respect to internal automotive standards.

QualificationsEssential Skills/Qualifications

Bachelor- or master-degree in mechanical engineering, production- and automation technologies.

Knowledge of Industry 4.0, data processing and lean management methods and technologies.

Several years of professional experience in the automotive environment with reference to production processes and manufacturing technologies.

Outstanding teamwork skills, good communication behavior in multicultural environment and a high level of quality awareness.

Hands-on experience on shop floor.

Excellent English language skills, spoken and written to ensure international communication.
