Appreciation and trust form the basis of the cooperation with our internal colleagues from the business areas and infrastructure units as well as our external partners.The GP Transformation team in Global Procurement (GP) is responsible for transforming and developing best-in-class approaches to DB’s procurement practices in partnership with the functional teams. This includes designing and integrating the frameworks, skills/competencies, processes, training, systems, tools and data insights to ensure Procurement excellence is embedded into ways of working internally and externally with our third parties.Division OverviewThe Global Procurement (GP) function enables our bank to optimize supplier relationships to meet its strategic objectives by:Partnering across the bank to develop and execute strategies to meet our business requirements.Applying our understanding of the supply market and specialized procurement capabilities to optimize value created.Enabling the bank to access suppliers by identifying and mitigating vendor risks.Managing the platforms to enable efficient and compliant purchasing of goods and services.The PCD Team underpins and enables the ambitions of GP through partnering and strong alignment across the function to deliver transformation, defining learning & development and unlocking value creation. The team is split into 6 sub-teams:Data & Analytics - provides access to accurate data and insights to enable and support decision making.Group Vendor Management Office - designs, develops, and embeds vendor management standards and best practice in DB. Defining GP’s Learning & Development proposition is a key component of the GVMO.Product Management - drive automation and technology developments across the source to pay IT platforms.Global Procurement Transformation – delivery of end-to-end procurement transformation and interoperability requirements.Supply Chain Sustainability - embedding sustainability in the supplier lifecycle and along the supply chain.Key Responsibilities:Leads and facilitates the process improvement and effectiveness agenda for key procurement transformation initiativesTransformation Interface into Strategic Procurement organization, determines and supports related Transformation InitiativesDesigns and integrates procurement processes, data, tools and skills in line with the E2E value chain including appropriate performance measures for benefits realization and process compliancePartners with the GP teams and other bank-wide functional teams to develop business requirements and standards for their given portfolioWorks closely with the wider Procurement Capability Development team to manage interdependencies across the procurement lifecycle and infrastructureManages the portfolio of improvement projects and initiatives including project resources and third partiesProject manages solutions on time, in budget and to quality expectationsAssumes team lead responsibilities in addition to delivery roleSkills & Qualifications:Solid and practical knowledge of Procurement value chain with corresponding processes and systems.Insights and experience in Sourcing processes, leveraging ARIBA solutions.Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to identify new solutions (process or technical) for complex issues while operating within the regulatory mandate.Conceptual thinker with an orientation for process architecture and systems optimisation.Ability to diagnose improvement areas across processes, tools, and systems.Ability to excel in unstructured environments, amidst multiple priorities.Track record of leading projects and programmes from ‘cradle-to-crypt’.Strong cross-functional change management, facilitation, and coaching skills.Strong self-management principles in the context of multinational corporations.Experienced in direct line management and indirect line management.Strong communication skills in English – verbal, written and presentations.Experienced in working with cross-functional teams.Solution oriented, confident self-starter.Our values define the working environment we strive to create – diverse, supportive and welcoming of different views.
