Job Description We are currently looking for a Hardware Design Engineer who will join an international team, part of a large manufacturing organization. Hardware Design Engineer Hardware Design: Design and develop digital and analog circuits, including ADC/DAC converters, OPAMPs, H Bridges, and 3phase inverters. Create power supply designs and work with power electronics up to 500Vac/800Vdc. Develop and test logic circuits, such as gates, registers, multiplexers, demultiplexers, decoders, encoders, and buffers. Simulation and Testing: Utilize simulation software such as LT Spice for circuit simulation and analysis. Perform testing and debugging of hardware designs using oscilloscopes (both digital and analog), function generators, and other test equipment. Design and implement basic digital oscilloscopes and function generators. Communication and Interfaces: Develop and integrate communication interfaces including SPI, I2C, USB, and WiFi protocols (e.g., ESP32). Work with interfaces like RS232 and RS485 for various applications. Motor and Sensor Control: Design and implement driving circuits for brushless DC motors, permanent magnet DC motors, and other types of motors (stepper, universal, AC/DC servos). Multidisciplinary Projects: Design schematics using tools such as Eagle or Altium. Work on inverters and converters (DCDC, DC-AC, AC-AC) and implement power factor correction. Address EMC/EMI considerations in hardware design. Requirements Academic Background: Degree in Applied Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or System Automation. Technical Skills: Proficiency in digital hardware design, including ADC/DAC converters, OPAMPs, logic circuits (gates, registers, multiplexers, demultiplexers, decoders, encoders, buffers) and power electronics (up to 500Vac/800Vdc) Experience with analog hardware design, including motor and sensor driving circuits. Competence in using simulation software such as LT Spice; familiarity with OrCAD, MATLAB Simulink, and Python is a plus. Knowledge of communication protocols and interfaces (SPI, I2C, USB, Wi-Fi, RS232, RS485). Ability to design and work with oscilloscopes (design basic digital one and usage of both digital and analog versions) and function generators.
