Head of General Ledger and Tax in Bucuresti

Job Description

• Responsible for direct taxations, indirect taxations and transfer pricing
• Monthly, quarterly and interim reporting of actual figures under statutory standards.
• Liaising with Financial Operations departments for tax and statutory month end closing
• Deal with audit queries to achieve timely sign off of the statutory accounts
• General Ledger- ownership of the full General Ledger and its integrity, ensuring all transactions are fully supported
• Review of trial balance and P&L transactions to ensure compliance
• Provide ad hoc analyses & reports as required
• Strive to generate improvements and automation in processes and procedures

Qualifications

• Certified Accountant – CECCAR qualification
• Between 7-10 years experience in a similar position within a multinational company
• Very good knowledge of Local GAAP  
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Excellent Excel skills
• The ability to work on own initiative in order to meet deadlines
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables with tight timescales
• Experience in managing a secure and transparent internal control environment
• Highly structured and organised
