We are seeking a Head of IT to join our team and help take our organisation to the next level. Reporting to the Chief Information & Technology Officer, this role is for a Senior IT Leader to oversee all IT functions for our company. You will lead a team of managers responsible for Corporate IT functions, Infrastructure and Procurement. Responsibilities: Develop the IT strategy, ensure resource allocation and build plans to track progressDevise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of defined strategiesAnalyze the business requirements of all departments and ensure their ongoing technology needs are metOversee the efficient operations of infrastructure and networking across multiple offices and data centersPurchase efficient and cost-effective IT equipment and software and ensure their ongoing functionalityIdentify improvements or upgrade needs and proactively address issues and risksEstablish and maintain relationships with vendors and create cost-efficient contractsMeasure and report on the effectiveness of the IT group and its budgetAct as a true partner to the rest of the Technical Leadership team and the various stakeholders across the company and ensure the IT organisation and systems are effective and continuously improving. Requirements: Proven experience as Head of IT or similar role within a large multi-site organisationA strategic thinker with a strong track record of building teams that deliver results, and an appreciation for metrics and continuous improvement. Experience with OKRsExcellent understanding of computer hardware, software and networkingExperience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specificationsExperience with on-premise data centresKnowledge of cloud technologiesExperience in controlling IT budgetsExcellent organisational and leadership skillsExcellent communication skillsExperience in the financial industry or other regulated industry is not required, but highly desirable.
