About Us: Sferal is a fast-growing startup that turns companies into AI-driven organizations by helping them (1) automate workflows with AI, (2) create AI agents, and (3) structure their data, all while offering cloud and on-premise solutions with safety & security at the center. The team at Sferal is composed of 8+ driven people, with a strong engineering focus, mostly based in Bucharest, Romania. Sferal is in the process of raising a $1m seed round, with $300k already committed. The goal is to grow fast in Romania and then expand to Europe and the US, and strive to reach $100m ARR in the next 5 years to become one of the next unicorns founded in Romania. The company was founded by Adrian Dragomir , also the founder of Termene.ro , a $4m+ ARR business that helps businesses with structured business data for multiple use cases. About You: Youll be the first marketing hire in a startup with global ambitions. So itll be all hands on deck to build and drive growth, from drafting the strategy to building the team managing it, and driving execution. This is for you if youre a strategic marketer all about execution, and is excited about a startup culture of doing, growth, autonomy, and impact. This is for you if your second nature is B2B SaaS and have direct experience in it or at least in an adjacent field such as B2B Tech Services or the overall Tech space. Ideally, you'll be based in Bucharest, Romania, and available to work on-site at our state-of-the-art office. There is flexibility for hybrid or fully remote for exceptional talent. Top 5 Objectives: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy and go-to-market roadmap that positions Sferal for rapid growth, with a focus on reaching 500 paid clients by the end of 2025, initially in Romania and later expanding internationally. Design and implement a multi-channel lead generation and conversion funnel, leveraging content marketing, events, outbound strategies, and partnerships to drive qualified leads (MQLs) that meet or exceed targets aligned with the company's revenue goals. Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with key industry players, thought leaders and complementary businesses to amplify Sferal's reach and credibility in the AI and automation space. Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, hiring and developing talent across key areas such as content creation, digital marketing, events management, and analytics to support Sferal's ambitious growth targets. Collaborate with the sales team to create a seamless lead handoff process, develop sales enablement materials, and implement strategies to shorten the sales cycle and improve conversion rates from MQL to closed deals. Main Responsibilities: Develop and execute a data-driven marketing plan that encompasses brand positioning, digital marketing, content creation, and demand generation as well as the strategy including events, content, webinars, etc. For the Romanian market, you will be leveraging our existing assets to drive growth, such as Adrian Dragomirs personal brand and online presence, our already existing events and education courses that we are doing for AI / Automation, and our existing community of AI enthusiasts (over 4000+ members). Consider the best go-to-market in terms of geography (Romania and other countries), ideal customer profiles to prioritize, etc through market research and conversations and analysis of our existing clients. Set all digital KPIs and targets, then forecast and own the budget needed to deliver them. Collaborate with sales as needed to align KPIs and work together. Analyze marketing performance data to optimize campaigns, identify new opportunities, and make data-driven decisions. Design and implement a content strategy that positions Sferal as a thought leader in the AI and automation space, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, webinars, and speaking engagements. Set up and manage the marketing technology stack, including CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and outreach tools to support efficient lead generation and nurturing processes. Collaborate closely with the product team to ensure marketing messaging aligns with product capabilities and gather market insights to inform product development. Plan and execute a calendar of industry events, including webinars, workshops, and conferences, to generate leads and strengthen Sferal's position in the market. Build your marketing team and manage it. Hire the right people, mentor them, and support them to build and grow together. Requirements: 3 - 7 years of experience in marketing leadership roles, preferably in the B2B SaaS, B2B Tech Services, or Tech industry, and preferably roles with International impact, not just in Romania. Proven track record of driving growth, leading teams, and owning results/outcomes/budgets. Expertise in digital marketing, content creation, SEO, social media, and lead generation as well as the normal tech stack needed (CRM, Outreach tools, etc) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally Opportunities and Benefits: Fix salary and strong equity options in the company.
