Sofidel’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction targets to 2030 have been approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) as consistent with reductions required to keep warming to well-below 2°C, in line with the goals of the Paris Agreement.PURPOSETo guarantee the execution of risk assessment in the reference plant, contributing to the identification and carrying out of safety measures found necessary.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Identify all risk factors within the plant, draft the risk assessment and indicate the necessary measures for the health and safety of working environments in compliance with the regulations in force Guarantee the correct and efficient control of administrative processes concerning safety management Guarantee the effectiveness of the analysis process following job injuries, in order to ascertain their cause and promptly implement the related corrective measures Manage fire risk and protection infrastructures Participate in safety meetings with workers and their representatives Elaborate safety procedures for the different corporate activities Identify the need for information and training in safety matters and suggest related intervention programmes. Participate in consultations on matters of work health and safety Participate in the training process of suppliers of goods and services with relation to the safety and hygiene activities in the workplace (where applicable) Check compliance of machines, plants and facilities with law requirements and suggest measures to be carried out in order to raise their safety standards, taking into account the applicable harmonized technical provisions In charge of the safety management system (OHSAS 18001) where applicable Promote a safety-bound corporate culture Promote the Corporate Principles and ValuesHealth Safety and Environmental Manager, Environmental skills and experience with ISO 14001 certificaton required
