Apache (nice to have) Ubuntu (nice to have) Oracle (nice to have) Microsoft Azure (nice to have) SQL (nice to have) Red Hat (regular) Linux (advanced) AWS (advanced) Kubernetes (advanced) Role Definition for Hosting Team ManagerThe post holder will be responsible for leading the internal Vetasi Hosting team which is distributed across the whole of the group.  There will be a requirement to fulfil the following aspects of the role:Interacting with the Sales team to assist in the production of quotations and designs for new hosting propositions for clientsKeeping up to speed with new technological developments in Maximo and associated products to assess the impact of these on the hosted infrastructureLeading the management of the current hosted estate Managing the other team membersYour team is based in the UK, so English is crucial.  EssentialHands on experience in designing and implementing optimized Cloud Patterns, Hybrid Cloud  Solutions such as IaaS + PaaS, On Premise + Public Cloud etc.Monitoring: Important tools here are Icinga2 (or equivalent Nagios derivative), Grafana, OpsGenie and the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats agents)Good experience in Implementation and monitoring of an AWS infrastructure.Experience in Networking, Compute, Storage, Monitoring, SecurityExperience in implementation/supporting for microservice project using Elastic Kubernetes service (EKS) integration with Docker containerizationGood Understanding and experience in AWS Cloud Services EC2, S3, VPC, Cloud Watch,  Auto  scaling, Route 53, IAM, CloudFront, WAF, Application load balancer etcExperience in proposing AWS solutions with estimated cost.Experience in implementing High availability using Availability Sets and Availability Zones and AutoscalingScripting and Automation - experience with a tool like Ansible would also be a big plus here.Experience in configuring disaster recovery  DesirableGood understanding and experience of Implementing Site-to-Site, Point-to-Site, Vnet-to-Vnet, Vnet Peering connections.Containerisation experience with Red Hat Openshift; but Kubernetes experience is transferable here.Experience in providing optimized solution to applications for Cost saving and business continuity.Technical hands-on experience with installing, configuring, optimizing and troubleshooting Maximo Database administration; experience working with SQL and No-SQL databases.  7.6.x systems and MAS 8 systemsNetworking; understanding of network and security configurations and best-practices in a cloud environment setting. Includes setup of VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, and network infrastructure servers, such as web application firewall (WAF) / VPN servers (in our case Untangle but translatable experience can be applied here) and reverse proxies.Good experience in proving solutions for Continuous integrations/Continuous deployment for most of the application.DevOps implementation with CI/CD using Git as central repository.
