Job DescriptionThis is a unique opportunity to join us as a HR Director/EMEA Braking (m/f/d) reporting to the Executive HR Director Braking.This position can be based in any of our Braking sites within our EMEA region and has responsibility for EMEA Operations.In this challenging role you’ll provide HR leadership and strategic direction for the Braking EMEA Operations by developing and executing HR initiatives related to people development, talent acquisition, retention, diversity, organizational development, performance management and HR functional excellence throughout the Tenneco Braking Business EMEA plants in support of organizational objectives.Key Responsibilities Act as business partner, strategic solution provider, advisor and counselor for the Braking EMEA Organization. Actively participates in the financial planning process and technical reviewsActively help to shape the business strategy and align the HR function; Ensure organizational structure, bench strength and capacity are aligned with the current and future needs of the Operations . Upgrade the HR Function through effective development plans and strategic recruitment initiativesLead HR functional excellence for the EMEA Region; Proactively identify opportunities within the business and solve them by developing innovative ideas or benchmarking/utilizing best practicesLeverage the HR People Philosophy Operating Review Process to drive functional excellence, continuous improvement, and support Braking global, country and regional HR directives; Complete analysis and action plans necessary to achieve all HR People Philosophy maturity level metricsAdminister, calibrate and monitor the performance management process strengthening ViA / Values in Actions ) and the Organizational Capability Assessment for the Braking EMEA operationsEfficiently direct and coordinate the recruitment, selection and promotion processes; Take proactive action to ensure a diverse candidate pool and ensure we are upgrading the talent in the organization to successfully contribute achieving the global Braking strategyEmploy coaching, consulting and facilitation skills to influence behavior and business decisions consistent with Tenneco Values and PhilosophyDeploy Employee Engagement Survey process; Complete analysis and implement effective organizational/leadership actions and development programs and lead a culture of positive employee relationsManage and develop employee compensation/reward and recognition programs, driving pay-for-performance culture aligned with business objectives. Foster a culture of manager ownership and accountability of the employee life cycleManage training needs identification, training program development and deployment across the operations, as well as provide support for corporate organizational development initiativesLead or participate in Group or Division HR initiatives; Participate in special projects and task groups as requiredOversee development of labor relations strategies to guarantee continuity across the business, support negotiations where necessary including EWC meetings, analyze labor costs globally, implement effective strategies that drive cost structure improvements and manufacturing footprint optimization Required SkillsBachelor’s degree required.
