Job Description
As HR manager, you partner with the Cluster general manager but also with the GMs and country management teams of each subsidiary of the area. You deploy the HR strategy and implement the relevant HR policies or processes among a scope of approx. 200 permanent team members, mostly in marketing and sales roles. You report directly to the HR director for Europe commercial.
The regional scope will be central & eastern Europe including but not limited to Poland, Ukraine, Romania and central south Europe.
BUISINESS PARTNERING:
- Understands the challenges and strategies in Europe and in each of the countries supported
- Provides guidance/counselling on the most efficient and adequate organization in line with the business goals and the capabilities needed
- Contributes to the Operating Plans, the budget cycles and reviews of each of the countries supported
- Elaborates an HR plan for the business Cluster with a country cascading plan and an HR plan for the development of our team members
- Brings advice and guidance to the Group Supply Chain HR teams for the team members operating in Supply Chain and located in your countries
- Collects a good understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of each organization and builds associate HR plans
- Reflects the main metrics on the HR, guarantees the quality and the accuracy of the HR data, maintain organization charts updated
PEOPLE CHAMPION:
- Develops a good knowledge of the team members of his/her perimeter and acts as the HR key contact
- Bring support and coaching to managers in their team management: to better deliver performance feedback, build development plans, create team dynamics…
- Contribute to identifying talents within the organization and developmental opportunities
- Drive the people/organization communication agenda throughout the year
- Contribute to projects aiming at reinforcement engagement within the Region

- Leverages on the Center of Expertise HR to deliver the best experience to our candidates and team members and more specifically:
- Engages with Talent Acquisition on each hiring process and provide feedback to the hiring managers
- Optimizes BIC University training offer
- Manages our levelling/job classification system
- Monitors our benefits offer across countries
HR PROCESSES AND COMMUNICATION:
- Designs the annual training plan based on the development plans of team members, in alignment with the business orientations
- Leads with the GMs and Functional Heads the performance calibration meetings
- Runs the Total Rewards agenda with the objective of differentiating performance, recognizing talent, addressing consistency
- Completes the Talent Review and Succession plans
- Deploys Group process of Engagement survey and supporting managers for action plans
- Provides a constant view on headcount and HR costs in liaise with Finance
- Supports the Management Team for underperformance management and disciplinary actions (or termination of contracts)
- S/he also participates in diverse local or Group projects in all these fields.

Qualifications
- Relevant studies in HR, law or business administration
- 8 years' professional experience in HR, minimum 3 as an HRBP for an international population with regular interactions with GMs and senior business managers
- Labor law knowledge, CEE ideal
- Experience in FMCG, CPG or Retail companies preferable
- Fluent in English and Romanian, ideally in Russian as well
- Good interpersonal and influencing skills
- Ability to challenge and have an impact on decisions
- Business acumen

- Pragmatic, structured and with excellent organizational skills
