It will also support Security Engineering activities as directed by the Global Head of Security Architecture and Engineering. Reporting to the Global Head of Security Architecture and partnering with the broader Digital Business Solutions (DBS) organization, you will be responsible for defining and developing Identity Access Management and supporting Security Engineering strategies and delivering these alongside teammates and partners, aligning with BAT enterprise growth strategy. You will be a subject matter expert on:Design and delivery of Identity Management, strategies, and associated toolsEngineering, implementing, and monitoring security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and informationIdentifying and defining system security requirementsDesigning computer security architecture and developing detailed cyber security designsWhat is the direct impact of this role on the team or organization? To provide architectural direction to maximize the value from technology innovation in a way that manages the cyber security risk and helps increase compliance, minimizing business disruptions from potential cyber-attacks and data breachesReports to: Global Head of Security Architecture & EngineeringReporting Level: no direct reportsGeographic Scope: GlobalWHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FORLeads the Identity Management space.Identify and define identity management requirements.Defines and delivers key Identity Processes for user provisioning, termination, changes.Defines, delivers, and manages vendors / identity and access management tools and platforms.Defines, delivers, and manages Key Identity Processes.Work DBS application teams to onboard their apps into the Identity Platforms.Recommend and plan use of new features and functionality to improve overall system performance, security, and availability as well as business productivity.Problem-solve, involving leading teams in identifying, researching, and coordinating the resources necessary to effectively troubleshoot/diagnose complex project issues.Establish standards and guidelines are in place and are widely communicated to all stakeholders to ensure consistency and compliancy across the organization.Proactively research, monitor, learn, and assess industry/technology advancements and continually build alliances to explore ways to leverage and advance technical opportunities.Lead and / or deliver security engineering tasks.Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasksWork with other Enterprise and Solution architects and CISO team to ensure that information security is fully integrated into enterprise technology architecture across all business functions and solutions.ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGEExtensive experience in designing secure architectures for complex systems, networks, and applications. This includes translating business requirements into effective security solutions.Degree or equivalent in Computer ScienceConducting thorough risk assessments to identify security threats and vulnerabilities. Experience in developing risk management strategies and mitigation plans.Strong knowledge of industry security standards and regulations (., ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, GDPR) and experience in ensuring compliance with these standards.Knowledge of security governance frameworks and experience in establishing security policies, procedures, and guidelines across the organization.Experience in conducting security testing, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in systems and applications.Knowledge of various security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), security information and event management (SIEM) systems, encryption, multi-factor authentication, and identity and access management (IAM) solutions.Skill in assessing and managing risks, understanding the impact of security vulnerabilities, and implementing appropriate risk mitigation strategies.In-depth understanding of networking concepts, operating systems, databases, web applications, cloud computing, and virtualization technologies.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and executive management. Ability to translate technical concepts into business terms.BENEFICIAL Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
