You will report directly to the Senior Manager of IAM - Security Engineering. You will have the opportunity to address global security challenges. and make the Internet a safer place, powered by the scale of Akamai's platform and influence.Partner with the bestYou will work on the analysis and implementation of tools to strengthen the security of Akamai Compute. Expect to do studies on preventive tools for identity and access management. You will help Akamai's Compute culture to become more agile, innovative and dynamic.As a IAM Engineer you will be responsible for:Designing, developing, testing, implementing, and integrating new and existing Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems and solutions.Advising on following IAM domains: single sign-on, privilege access management, directory services, access federation and account lifecycle.Supporting of the full life cycle of web access management solutions across different teams.Documenting functional, non-functional and technical specifications including KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions.Observing market trends in the IAM space and identify opportunities for the further development.Do what you loveTo be successful in this role you will:Demonstrate deep understanding of Linux, single sign-on, privilege access management, directory services etc.Have automation experience using Python OR Go.Possess good communication skills to work with collaborative cross-functional teams of peers and departments within the company.Have experience managing and deploying security solutions at scale preferably in Cloud environments (not required).Work in a way that works for youFlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
