Infrastructure Architect External Consultant to support PurePlay Project   Industry : manufacturing/engineering Remote work : 100% + occasional business travels Assignment type : B2B Project length :  6 months contract + extension - Long-term cooperation Project language : English   PROJECT DESCRIPTION: As an Infrastructure Architect in the Pure Play project, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and implementing the Technology Infrastructure required to support the newly formed standalone entity. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless transition and alignment with the company’s IT Strategy. RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate with key stakeholders globally to understand the business requirements and technical requirements. Design and develop the infrastructure architecture, considering scalability, reliability, security, and cost-effectiveness. Define and document infrastructure guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and compliance across the project. Implement and configure the infrastructure components, including servers, storage systems, networks, and security systems. Collaborate with the IT operations team to establish appropriate monitoring, maintenance, and support processes for the new infrastructure.   REQUIREMENTS: Proven experience as an Infrastructure Architect, preferably in a global company and in the context of a carve-out project. Strong technical expertise in IT Infrastructure, including modern workplace technology, Data Centers, networking, Cloud, end-user computing, and system administration.  Strong competence in project management Strong experience in Infrastructure design and implementation. Familiarity with industry standards, frameworks, and regulatory requirements related to IT infrastructure. Good knowledge of ITIL best practices, processes, and terminology Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design scalable and reliable solutions. You are a result-oriented team player, leading from the front with pro-activity and transparency.  You are good at stakeholder management feel comfortable communicating with all levels in the Organizational hierarchy and are good at building relations.  Continuous improvement mindset Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
