PurposeThis role installs and maintains operating systems, applications, servers, virtualization, network devices and backup systems to ensure stable performance.Key MissionsResponds to the day-to-day business needs according with prioritiesTroubleshoots problem source through discussions with users and coordinates with internal organization support and operations groups and with vendors to resolve problemsStays up-to-date on information technology and aligns it with IDEMIA and Divisions' technology strategyAcquires, installs and upgrades IT components, licensing and software, and manages inventoryEnsures to follow governance model and processes (change management, root cause analysis, documentation, etc.)Creates and maintains documentation related to their activitiesEnsures and supports Division standards about safety and security as well as industry and legal regulationsPlans service availibity according to business requirements (this may include defining redundancy, backup implementation, having on-call duty)Executes complex administration and networking tasks in autonomyEnsures configuration is aligned with company needs and service continuity, availability and efficiency in alignment with service-level agreementsProposes improvement ideas and sets up proceduresManages troubleshootingInterfaces with vendors and key stakeholders to actively contribute to projectsSupports less experienced team membersProfile & Other InformationResponsibilities Implement and maintain Windows based systems for the assigned environments Manage and maintain Active Directory systems; Involve on Infra topics that will include Corporate application platforms, Data protection and High Availability, virtualization and Security compliance Assist support staff as/when required in order to meet deadlines and IDEMIA Infrastructure support priorities. Share skills and experience with the team and other groups within the organization, with the aim of establishing consistency and improving quality within the company. Proactive and promptly identify and assist to resolve any relevant key issues and/or risks. Understand, follow and improve upon all formally communicated methodologies, processes, policies, and values. Focusing always on delivering consistent, reliable, repeatable, scalable and quality outcomes. Analyze failure and ensure operational recovery within agreed SLA through standard procedures Work on continuous improvement process by analyzing recurrent incidents and designing long term solutions Work independently / a quick learner with ability to implement workarounds through the proper guidance of Support standards and conventions. Able to work flexible hours if needed Available to come to Data Centers or approved area locations for technical support in case of emergencies Able to travel as and when reasonably requested. All other duties as requested by Management Technical knowledge Must have: In depth knowledge of Windows Server Infrastructure (DNS, DHCP, WSUS, PowerShell, monitoring) Good understating on Active Directory (GPO, advanced user management, replication, domain / forest interoperability) A good understanding of high-availability solutions (cluster, load-balancer), backup, disaster recovery and business continuity principles Knowledge about configuration management tools, deployment tools, updates and software repositories, monitoring tools Good understanding of ITIL principles and experience in working with a ticketing tool Hardware knowledge Experience in troubleshooting incidents at L2 level Able to work under minimal supervision A Plus: Knowledge of PKI principles, Microsoft CA preferred Other Microsoft infrastructure technologies: SCCM, SCOM, SharePoint Virtualization technology: VMware /Hyper-V/Nutanix Good level of understanding of networking and security technologies: firewall, proxy /reverse proxy, load-balancer, application firewall, antivirus, IPS / IDS, other security solutions Knowledge of storage principles and technologies: NAS, SAN Automation/orchestration technologies Previous datacenter experience Databases: MSSQL, MySQL and Oracle DB Preferred: University degree in the field of engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
