DescriptionThis role is allocated to the Core Services team which handles all operational, cloud, infrastructure and HW topics (both internally and externally).The Core Services Department is also in charge of managing multiple products and services in terms of infrastructure and on-going support.Role Responsibilities: Managing the Core Services Team on a daily basis;Responsible for all local and cloud IT infrastructure including network, servers and other services/platforms;Identifying the IT requirements of Acrelec and making sure all tasks are delivered accordingly;Understanding, analyzing and anticipating the usage behavior of the IT services in order to adjust the infrastructure accordingly;Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and all the components involved (tools processes and people) from an infrastructure and services perspective;Managing the entire lifecycle of the IT services (business request > design > development/testing/implementation > administrating the service > improvements > decommissioning);Implementing the IT security requirements and documenting the services according to the business requirements;Focuses on collaboration, teamwork and customer service;Prepare weekly and monthly reports regarding the Core Services Team;Creates tasks in Core Services JIRA project or directly assigns a task to one of the team members;Writes documentation, procedures and processes for all Core Services related topics;Together with the Core Services Team, plans Business Continuity for monitoring the entire Acrelec infrastructure over the weekends and during bank holidays. Organizes the department Business Continuity by ensuring backups for each critical topic by: Defining backup strategy for each service/product/project;Defining escalation paths for each service/product/project;Defining communication channels for escalation;Defining and approving on-call support on weekends and bank holidays;Evaluates each team member on a regular basis, as agreed in the Objective Review plan;Evaluates the responsibilities for each team member and agrees the update list with each team member;Delegates all execution tasks that are clearly defined for the team. Together with the Core Services Team, operates and maintains Acrelec’s applications and platforms. (Atlassian suite, Gitlab/Github, CRM, ERP, etc.);Provide support for upper management in application development and in other technical areas;Provides fast and clear communications to members from other internal teams.(PMs, Devs, Management);Building a team by constantly training the existing members and by recruiting additional members. Job Type: On-site & RemoteSince the job involves HW devices and physical activities required to support Work From Home for the other colleagues, the job is mostly on-site but some activities can be performed remotely by rotation.Profile of the candidate:We are looking for a colleague that, as a Department manager, should: Act as a Leader who takes full ownership for the entire Core Services Department and drives the team forward;Have excellent communication skills (in English) to act internally as a SPOC for infrastructure and organizational topics;Learn continuously and wants to get himself on the next level;Have a positive attitude, is autonomous and able to become self-managed in order to organize a team of specialists;Speak English at a very good level in order to participate in discussions with our external colleagues and partners and still remain concise while communicating;Constantly wish to push the boundaries and do things better and in a more modern way. Required experience in one or more areas listed below Local infrastructure administration: Linux / Windows / Networking / Datacenters; AWS: DevOps, Security, Organizational (IAM,etc.); DevOps: Familiarity with CI/CD flows, containerization, repositories, Scripting languages (bash, PowerShell); CyberSecurity: Technical analysis – API, Architecture, Encryptions, Authorizations, Governance – security policies, security controls, procedures; Managing Teams: Motivate, lead, organize teams; Product/Project/Services: Project management, SDLC, Architecture (from an infrastructure perspective); Database administration (SQL and NoSQL): MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Others; Software Cycles: Migration, Decommission, etc.
