Why we will love you We are looking for an Interior Design Service Co-worker who with his/her passion and creativity could take the IKEA brand in the heart and mind of the many people and increase the interest of many people in Home Furnishing in the local market.Your knowledge, skills and experience include:• Education in Architecture/Interior Design/Fine arts.• Experience of working with interior design or visual merchandising in a retail environment.• Computer proficient with high knowledge and experience of using SketchUp software and other relevant software - AutoCad, Revit.• Interior design competence: ability to combine commercial, aesthetic and practical aspects.• Digital tools: confident in handling IKEA design, planning and selling tools.• Creativity: ability to create new ideas, to visualize and top present them.• Social competence: highly developed communication skills and the ability to quickly build trustful relationships (active listening, problem solving, open questions and presentation skills). • Good personal disciplines and an ability to work to set deadlines - ability to prioritise and organize own work to make themost efficient use of time available.• Customer focus: confident in handling customer through diverse media channels.• Good attention to detail.• Ability to use and take personal initiative.• Confident in approaching and communicating clearly with different people in various situations.• Ability to generate, draw/visualise, present new ideas and sell Home Furnishing solution.• Achieving goals and delivering results.• Actively seeking new and improved ways of working simply and cost-efficiently;• A practical hands-on approach to working in a fast-paced retail environment.• Communication skills in English and Romanian. Your responsibilities You will:• Create complete home furnishing solutions fit to individual customer/ companies needs and dreams a.o. brand identity by using your home furnishing knowledge.• Demonstrate passion about IKEA products and actively learn about their features and benefits for customer / companies and share this knowledge with customers and colleagues.• Know the realities of the local market/ trade area and competitors and gather information from local Com&In department as well as private and B2B consultations, using this for customer/company planning and actively sharing it with colleagues.• Keep up to date with home furnishing, retail, trends and design to exceed customer/ companies’ expectations.• Lead in a 1:1 appointment through your planning proposal by communicating benefits and adapting through understanding the customer feedback in order to convert the planning offer into an order. • Offer all relevant services, finalize, reassure and complement the shopping cart to give the customers a good feeling.• Guide the customer through the payment process and contact the customer for after sales service.• Secure a successful, convenient and seamless customer experience, by optimally using all communication and sales channel, systems and ways of working. • Demonstrate IKEA values and sustainability commitments to emphasize the difference between IKEA and all other Furniture Sellers.• Respect routines and responsibilities, working closely with relevant colleagues across functions and units and to understand the own impact on business results.
