Intermodal Specialist in Constanţa

DP World, a global leader in port and logistics operations, is seeking a dedicated Intermodal Specialist to join our team in Constanta, Romania.As an Intermodal Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our port operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods through intermodal transport systems. You'll work closely with our dynamic team to optimize logistics processes, coordinate shipments, and maintain the highest standards of operational excellence.Your responsibilities:• Providing timely responses to shipping inquiries from colleagues, customers, and partners.• Conducting monthly checks to ensure the accuracy of shipment-related entries in the system.• Analyzing supplier performance continuously and fostering strong relationships with them.• Preparing and submitting quotations for containerized and non-containerized maritime transport services based on client needs.• Managing invoicing for transport services and related activities and maintaining accurate records of financial transactions.• Preparing customs documentation and forwarding it to partner forwarders as required.• Tracking external and internal shipments, updating customers on transit details and recording them in specific databases. Your profile:• Bachelor's degree completed.• Minimum three years of work experience in the transport field, with good understanding of maritime transport.• Good knowledge of domestic and international transport legislation.• Fluency in English.• Efficient communication skills (excellent listening and ability to convey information clearly, confidently and tactfully).• Innate problem-solving drive, eagerly tackling challenges, identifying root causes, and finding innovative solutions. • Detail-oriented approach, ensuring quality in all endeavors through accurate and thorough tasks completion.CompensationDP World offers exciting and challenging roles within a growing international organization.
