The ideal candidate should have the basic AP knowledge and be interested in enhancing their knowledge in this area. We are looking for a person with high professionalism and trustworthiness. Technical SkillsKnowledge of relevant accounting principles and solid data analysis skillsProblem resolving skills and should be a team playerERP – SAP (preferred)Fluent in English and German, both written and verbal (level “B2”)Good knowledge of MS OfficeSoft SkillsComfortable working with targetsPatience and ability to manage stressExcellent communication skills (written and oral)Team playerJob ResponsibilitiesReview invoices to ensure that all the information appearing on them are accurate and completeCheck the GR/IR account corresponding to the respective invoiceProcess the invoice in SAP on the correct vendor’s accountSupport in vendor balance account reconciliation processResearch, resolve and communicate any discrepancies or outstanding balances on vendor accountsReconcile monthly vendor account statements with the AP sub-ledgersSupport the month end closing activitiesDeal with vendor account related queries, ensuring that clarifications and solutions are communicatedEscalate more complex queries to the Senior Accounts Payable Team LeadAssist with ensuring that expenses are recorded for tax payment purposesAssist with month end closing processes and various financial & operational auditsPrepare and distribute regular and ad-hoc reports as required by the business or the higher managementPerform proper control checks, so that errors are minimized/ eliminatedReport any non-compliance issues to the Management so that precautionary measures can be put in placeMinimum Experience, Education and CertificationsBachelor’s degree - Finance or equivalent combination of education in finance domainRequires 3-5 years relevant experienceAbout NTT DATA ServicesNTT DATA Services is a recognized leader in IT and business services, including cloud, data and applications, headquartered in Texas.
