IT Cloud Operations Engineer £62, + benefits London/remote Leading professional services company is actively recruiting for an experienced IT Cloud Operations Engineer to support the IT Operations team systems in the public and private cloud. The ideal candidate will be hands on with experience in Azure and AWS who has a come from an Infrastructure engineer role and has good exposure to DevOps CI/DC pipelines and working knowledge of IaC using Terraform, Bicep and or other. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance of systems and infrastructure working with vendors and coordinating activities. Working with peers delivering service excellence on a strategy to build automation workflows and life cycle management. The successful IT Cloud Operations Engineer will have Proven experience as an Infrastructure/Cloud administrator and network engineer Solid experience in building fault-tolerant, scalable, and secure systems Experience with cloud service models and application delivery such as PaaS, Serverless and Containerization infrastructure Experience with Governance processes, planning, designing, testing, building, and deploying capabilities. Experience of providing high performing technical client focused service Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal including active listening Experience with migration work from on-prem to public cloud A passion about innovation and leading technological change A passion of learning and developing new skills Working knowledge of ITIL practices Knowledge of infrastructure/Cloud security and vulnerability remediations Knowledge of Terraform/Bicep/other with Azure DevOps exposure
