Description:We are looking for an Information and Operational Technology Engineer in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing that will join an on-going IT OT virtualization project.The perfect candidate has a Master's degree in computer science and around 5 years of experience in IT and OT system setup and troubleshooting. Additionally we are looking for someone who is a good and flexible team member for project work.Tasks & Responsibilities:Responsible for the planning, delivery, operations and maintenance of IT and OT systemsAnalyze system requirements to create effective IT and OT Infrastructure designs by collaborating with global IT infrastructureDevelop scripts to automate repetitive tasks improving workflow across departmentsCollaborate with network and cybersecurity experts to integrate automated solutions seamlesslyInstall and verify IT infrastructure for traditional and virtualization environmentsWrite IT and OT test for qualification and configuration of the systemExecute thorough testing protocols to qualify and validate IT and OT system functionalityManage change requests for IT tasksTroubleshoot and resolve issues in existing IT and OT setups and provide on site local support to manufacturing plantsContinuously evaluate and update IT and OT systems for efficiencyDocument processes and system configurations following GxP and Computer System Validation requirementsContribute to deliver project documentation deliverablesCollaborate with quality assurance specialist for ensuring Good Manufacturing Practices expectations and quality integrityMust Haves:Master's degree in computer science + certification in automation engineering or related technologiesAt least 5 years of experience in IT and OT system setup and troubleshooting Experience with virtualization infrastructure Experience as an engineer in traditional control systemsKnowledge of the technological needs that determine the decisions taken at the production workshop levelProficiency in managing system installation, qualification and validationProficiency in test writings and executionsAt least 3 years of experience in Manufacturing IT and OTProficiency in working in GMP and GxP environmentGood experience with network connectivity and cybersecurity ( IT and OT subnets)Several years of experience with project work Experience with PI (Process Integration) Data Historian Experience with shop floor automation systems Experience with Service NOW Experience with eVALExcellent communication skills in German and EnglishAble to work with cross functional teamsAble to be simultaneously operational and project orientedProcess oriented and work with high precisionGood and flexible team member for project workAble to work with tight deadlines and high expectations Job Title: IT OT Engineer Location: Basel, Switzerland Job Type: Contract TEKsystems, an Allegis Group company.
