We are devoted to creating a protocol and an ecosystem, which enable data management agnostic to the underlying infrastructure, with the user always in the driver seat. With Wildland, application developers will be able to build apps which by definition protect users’ digital sovereignty. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager, whose skill and dedication will help us accelerate the delivery of Wildland, further develop our internal processes, as well as effectively leverage external resources. Core responsibilities Assisting the Tech & Design Leads in short-to-mid-term planning Defining and communicating priorities for the team and the allocation of appropriate resources to deliver expected results Continuous tracking of progress and reporting it in a clear and consistent manner Taking action to ensure the delivery of features and functionalities in a predictable and efficient manner Anticipating risks that may hinder team progress, identifying root causes of issues and facilitating the resolution of those issues Participating in the management and development of our teams, including performance review and feedback Defining the team's recruitment needs, briefing external recruiters, and actively participating in the recruitment process Engagement and oversight of external contractors Streamlining delivery processes (task allocation, code review, quality assurance etc.) Required skills and experience Track record in managing small- or mid-size technical teams which successfully delivered customer-facing software Good understanding of software development methods and tools, as well as knowledge of Git, Github/Gitlab Proven ability to coordinate cross-platform development efforts (desktop/mobile/web, MacOS/Windows/Linux) Previous programming experience would be an advantage A solid understanding of the value of great product design and user experience Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and management, and explain technical issues Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Resource planning and task scheduling skills Understanding of the following topics: personal data management, data sovereignty, blockchain, cloud storage and computing, decentralization, the open source movement  Experience in an open-source project would be an advantage What we offer A competitive salary, including additional incentives.
