IT Support Engineer, 1st & 2nd LineAn exciting new opportunity for an IT Support Analyst to work with a leading financial services solutions provider. Working within a small but talented team, your role will be to support internal business users (approx. ) with applications, hardware and desktop queries. You will benefit from a supportive and friendly team keen to embrace a new teammate and help them on their journey.You will need to have at least 3 years commercial experience supporting 2nd line technical queries. Day to Day activities include:Perform 1st/2nd line diagnosticsSetting up new users, building laptop and PC hardware, configuring software and VPN access.Adhering to ISO process to deliver a high grade of IT and customer supportEsnure all tickets are resolved or escalatedTraining and support of new users across software and IT servicesInteractions with globally dispersed end usersSkills & Experience required:Previous experience working in a 1st and/or 2nd line IT Support role and management of P1 and P2 incidentsExperience of using an IT ticketing systemExcellent communication skillsKnowledge of PC hardware, software, and their components in a business environmentKnowledge of Office including, but not limited to Teams, SharePoint, OutlookProven troubleshooting skillsProven working knowledge of operating systems (Windows primarily) and ISO standardsTeam player with a strong attention to detailPositive attitude with a proactive approach to workHit apply to upload your CV and any covering information.Spectrum IT Recruitment (South) Limited is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
